NOMAD MKII OVERVIEW VIDEO

Grab yourself some popcorn and poprocks ladies and gents, here is a video that gives you an overview of everything the NOMAD MKII can do. And it's a lot! This video is an HOUR LONG! (The NOMAD is a hand-held portable hosting unit with many additional features.)  So for the next hour you can either re-watch the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale - or the this epic masterpiece that unveils the numerous features of the NOMAD MKII!

As I mention in the video, pricing and availability has not been determined yet. Dustin and I are still working out the remaining hardware & software details. Check back here for the latest information! Leave your questions and comments below. I'll do my best to answer them.

Enjoy!

1. Does it have a SD card slot for upgrades?
2. Can it get updates via USB?
3. Once a player is infected, does the players killed become on the team or is it still reliant on the Nomad to infect them? How many batteries does it take and can it use lithium. Lithium rechargable useually have 3.7v could it use those?

No, it does not have an SD slot nor USB. For the infector, you need the NOMAD to infect active players to a specific team.

It takes two AA batteries. Lithiums are fine, but do not use Lithium rechargeables or you will exceed the 3 volts and the device will blow up.

Some amazing features in there! I'm assuming that the supply signal is the same as the standard respawn signal, and we could use a learning remote as well?

Yes!! Great point! Once you set which guns can receive heals (and/or shields and/or ammo for LTARs) you can use anything to generate that standard respawn signal, like a learning remote. You don't need the NOMAD to send that signal.

Well done Robert and Dustin! This is a really exciting piece of hardware and I for one am really looking forward to getting my hands on one, especially since we are going to be swapping out all our existing guns for LTARS by the end of the year.
As for the dead player
